Since 2004, the Québec Physicians’ Health Program (QPHP) Foundation has supported the delivery of QPHP services through its fundraising activities, in particular the annual fundraising campaign and the medical federations golf tournament.
On March 31, 2023, the Foundation will cease its activities. As of April 1, the QPHP, as a charitable organization, will take over the management of its philanthropic activities in its own name. The objective remains the same: to raise funds to meet the organization’s financial needs.
This decision was made at an extraordinary general meeting in September 2022 to improve efficiency and eliminate administrative duplication.
As of April 1, with the transfer of the Foundation’s activities to the QPHP, all communication regarding the fundraising campaign and the golf tournament will be handled by the QPHP via a new email address, philanthropie@pamq.org.
